Three moments I especially loved, without any real spoilers:ĭuring the operation, as Lucy describes what she's feeling, the camera zooms in tightly on Lucy's face, and the make-up is done in a way so that you can clearly see her pores and imperfections. The stakes in the film weirdly decrease as time goes on, and you end up rooting for no one at all. It goes against a lot of conventions, like Besson is playing around with the idea of what an action movie can be. I absolutely loved it, but can also understand why a lot of people hate it. ![]()
